COCCIOPESTO MORTAR is a natural and ecological masonry mortar for both interior and exterior use made with non hydraulic lime and crushed terra cotta . Two granulometries are available: Coarse COCCIOPESTO MORTAR with crushed terracotta 0-3mm and Fine COCCIOPESTO MORTAR with crushed terracotta 0-1mm.
COCCIOPESTO MORTAR was developed by the Romans is always used in the restoration of Venice. By its properties, the COCCIOPESTO MORTAR allows the realization of a more resistant mortar while giving to constructions more elasticity. That is ideal for the old supports (stone, bricks) or on the new eco-friendly supports (e.g. bricks). |
