Use
MATECO ® is a green paint for indoor use . MATECO ® green paint is eco and health friendly and has a very mineral decorative matt finish. It is solvent free. This water based paint is easy to apply to various types of surface. It covers well and is economic to use. MATECO ® green paint exhibits a very elegant, smooth and opaque finish. Ideal for renovation work as the initial structure is preserved whilst offering a high level of protection.
MATECO ® green paint is available in white and is colored using compatible natural pigments or dyes.
Composition
Versatate resin, calcium carbonate, titanium oxide, made from a selection of non toxic and biodegradable ingredients that are eco and health friendly . Free from asbestos, formaldehyde and heavy metals.

Application
Surface preparation
Indoor surfaces should be in conformity with the current standards in force. Surfaces must be homogeneously absorbent, sound, clean, dry, nonfriable and deprived of salts, moisture and moulds.
MATECO ® green paint can be used on the following materials in areas that are appropriately aired:
- plaster and derivatives
- concrete
- cement
- all types of old (well stuck) paint
- wood and its derivative
All surfaces in wood, rendering plaster and derivatives must be covered with a water-based primer coat (IMPRESSION ACRYLIQUE or IMPRESSION ACRYLIQUE COUVRANTE).
Painted surfaces should first be cleaned and rubbed with sandpaper to make them matt.

Application
Mix well MATECO ® green paint before applying. Apply MATECO ® green paint with a brush, roller or by spraying, diluted with ± 10% of water. Two coats of MATECO ® green paintare better than one. Let dry the first coat before applying the second coat.
Dilute more where necessary according to the means of application and the porosity of the surface.
Drying
MATECO ® green paint is dried after 1 to 2hrs. The second coat of MATECO ® green paint should be applied after 6 to 8 hrs. Depending on the absorbency of the substrate and the ambient humidity.
Coverage
200 ml / m², depending on the surface.
Practical advice
Clean all tools with water immediately after use.
Apply and store at a temperature of +5°C to +30°C (40°F or 85°F).
Do not apply to hot or damp surfaces.
Each wall section should be finished the same day. All overlapping should be done in corners or door angles.
Protect the surrounding areas from splashes or clean with water immediately.
Health Caution
MATECO ® green paint is an eco and health friendly paint . However, please take the following precautions: in case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly in water and consult a specialist if any symptoms persist. Keep out of reach of children.
Storage
MATECO® green paint will keep for one year in its original packaging. Keep closed and protect from frost and high temperatures.
Packaging
MATECO ® green paint is conditioned in recyclable plastic buckets of 1 litres, 5 litres and 15 litres.
