Characteristics

Semi-covering matt Primer without odor with low content of COV. It contains nontoxic and highly biodegradable chemical additives, selected quartz and first quality siliceous sands  blinded with acrylic resin in emulsion. Very good adherence. Very easy application. Speed of drying. Good resistance to the atmospheric agents. Very water vapor resistant.

Particularly indicated under all our interior and external lime-based product to hold on supports which are not containing lime such as paintings acrylic, vinyl or glycéro (brilliant and gloss that need to be sandpapered), plasters, coatings of painters, concrete… ; or on the old supports containing limes which make slightly flour. Can also be used as hangs for the mineral paintings and coatings in the event of badly fixed funds.

Be aware for smooth paintings because the aspect of this under layer when dry is slightly rough.

Preparing Supports

Supports and their preparation will be in conformity with the code of practice and the DTU in force (clean, dry, nonfriable and deprived of salts, moisture and moulds).

Supports must be homogeneous in absorption. The ones that are not prepared (plaster board, gypsum block, asbestos cement, siporex, wood, old paintings, bleedings and other similar supports) will have to be finished or raked and/or to be fixed with a matt water-based impression. Some of these supports can be fixed directly with Sous couche pour chaux extra.

Instructions

Mix well before application.

It is implemented with brush or roller into 1 layer diluted from approximately 1 to 2 volumes for 1 volume of water according to the porosity of the support.

It is dry after approximately 8h and recoverable after approximately 24h.

This preparation should be often stirred up so that the powders remain in suspension in the mixture.

Once the product is dry, the aspect must be slightly rough like fine abrasive paper distributed in a homogeneous way.

Avoid applying this product to hot supports and/or directly exposed to the sun, by day of wind, on wet supports or in the event of rain.

Consumption: approximately 0,1 - 0,15 kg/m ² by layer
